Our trip to Branson lasted 28 days. We were within 2 miles of Silver Dollar City from our campground. We went to Silver Dollar City about 4 or 5 days and managed to see all the shows there. We decided to get season passes so we could go as many times as we wanted. They were closed on Monday and Tuesday so we enjoyed some of the other things to do in Branson. We went on the Showboat, Branson Belle. We were provided with a great meal and enjoyable entertainment while cruising Table Rock Lake. Well worth the money. We also saw Acrobats of China but were a little disappointed, think we picked out the wrong acrobats to go see. One Sunday we went to see Hamner's Variety Show. We had to leave this campground after 14 days and proceeded to another one about 20 minutes from downtown Branson. We spent our time relaxing, walking, bicycling and enjoying the view of the lake. We also went garage saleing and flea marketing. We had a great time. While at Silver Dollar City I got to meet Buck Taylor, Newly from Gunsmoke, and had my picture made with him. Charlie talked to him about James Arness, Marshal Dillon,  and Ken Curtis, Festus from Gunsmoke. He is a very good artist. We bought two of his prints and he autographed them for us.We took a neat tour through Marvel Falls Cavern.

September 15th arrived at Cass, Arkansas to see Nate race on Sunday the 17th. Had a good time interacting with all the racers and having Nick, Suzanne and Nate spend a couple of nights with us in the RV. Nate came in 4th but he had a really good time with all the racers. Had a couple of days after they left to explore the surrounding area. Went to White Rock and checked out the other campground that Nick wants us to go to next year. White Rock was neat with all the interesting rock formations. It was way high on the top of a mountain with beautiful scenery below.

We had our reunion on the ninth. Jenell, Virginia, Angie and Diane took a side trip to see the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on the 11th and 12th. We stayed at Nancy and Ed's until the morning of September 15th.

Costa Rica trip day 8-11 Drive to Hatilla to our tree house aventure on the west coast. The tree house was beautiful. It had a draw bridge which we pulled up at night. We visited the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.. We did not go to the beach that Nick and Suzanne went to but hung back for a day and we got a treat by getting to see a Toucan up close. Then back to San Jose on the 10th day and stayed again at the Double Tree then caught flight back on the 11th day. Everyone said they did not want to leave. Costa Rica trip day 5-7 We left the east coast and went north of San Jose to the town of La Fortuna near the Arenal Volcano. On the way we found the secret gem of Costa Rica. The Catarata del Toro Waterfall. Very beautiful over a 300 foot drop well worth the walk down. Lots of humming birds and flowers also. The guys did the Sky Trek zip line, 8 zip lines and 2 hrs, and Suzanne and Diane did the Sky Walk through the rain forest with several hanging bridges, about a 5K walk. Day 8-11 coming in the next post. These are our favorite 10 pictures but you can view all our pictures in our gallery. http://gallery.ctudor.com/thumbnails.php?album=26
